First introduced in 1913, the Regal Peacock design was presented to King George V and Queen Mary by Burgess & Leigh on their royal visit to the Potteries. A century later in 2013, a refreshed copper engraving was produced, restoring Regal Peacock's rightful place in Burleigh's range, and in 2021 the pattern remains a firm favourite. Uniquely decorated by skilled craftsmen with Burleigh's centuries-old technique of tissue transfer printing from hand-engraved copper rollers.

Made from earthenware, every piece of Burleigh is proudly handmade at Middleport Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
