Frank Green emerged in the world in 2014... but its genesis began in the '90s. The creator, Benjamin Young, used to religiously occupy himself by the river close to his abode every day, fishing, flinging pebbles and enthralled with the exploits of Huckleberry Finn. Such reverie however were often disrupted by the rain, when a flood of plastic water bottles and cups would inundate the sandy beaches and riverbanks. Astonished by the fact that all of the plastic ever made still remains in the world today, Ben realized something had to be done to stifle its despoliation of places of beauty like his beloved river. This is when Frank Green was created.
