William Morris Strawberry Thief All Over Square Caddy

Regular price $35.00

Morris was inspired by real birds he observed at his country home, Kelmscott Manor. Thrushes there had a habit of stealing strawberries from his garden—hence the name Strawberry Thief.

Created in 1883 using a complex indigo discharge printing technique, which was difficult and expensive at the time. Strawberry Thief represents the height of the Arts and Crafts Movement, blending nature with craftsmanship and considered one of Morris’s most technically advanced and visually rich textiles.

The Caddy is perfect for storing sweets, tea, coffee, and sugar, or for general organising pantry items. A sweet way to bring some colour to your home.
